Roberta and Marco welcome you to the magical atmosphere of the Venetian fort that for more than 300 years has surrounded and protects the mound of Muggia. The sign tells of the primitive function of the building that was deputy in the warehouse of salt coming from the salt flats of the Noghere. Walls 2 meters thick had to protect, from possible attacks by sea, one of the most precious assets for the Serenissima: sea salt. The catering activity in this historic place has been carried out for more than a century through multiple managements.

It is our intention to continue in the traditional activity: genuine dishes, prepared strictly at home following the recipes of our grandmothers. We propose, in alternating seasons, the best products of our beautiful territory.
